1943 Press Photo New York Art gift from Belgium at UN General Assembly NYC

A gift of Belgium this 43 and a half foot by 28 and a half foot tapestry hangs in lobby of the General Assembly of the UN Described as the largest tapestry ever woven when it was presented in 1954 the green tapestry is by Peter Colfs Gaspard de Wit and other artisans of Antwerp Photo measures 10.25 x 7 inches. Photo is dated 01-19-1943.
