1968 Press Photo New York Sculptured Head of a Man Found in Afghanistan NYC

A man holds the sculptured head of a man found recently in Afghanistan and believed to be the oldest art object ever found in Asia and perhaps the world. In announcing the discovery , an official of the American Museum of Natural History here said April 19 that the object dates earlier than 14,665 B.C.
