Members of the National Maritime Union Dressed in swanky Marine Uniforms from a sarcastic comment on the sale of United States Ships and the resultant unemployment of U.S Seaman because of the neutrality law involved at the outbreak of war. The marched were in Annual Day Parade which with ranks thinner than usual, marched down Eight Ave. to Union Square in New York City. Photo measures 7.5 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 05-01-1940.
