1923 Press Photo New York Vaudeville Actress Zoe Garland Found Unconscious NYC

Photo shows Zoe Garland, a Vaudeville actress, rendered unconscious in front of apartment in New York City, where she was found by the police, after attending party early on the morning of April 20th. She was removed to the hospital with her head bruised. The police were puzzled as to cause of attack if there was one, and are not inclined to think that robbery was the motive as jewelry she wore was found in her pocketbook. Photo measures 5 x 7 inches.
