Description
Girls from Eastern Colleges spent the first day of their three day tour inspecting modern education methods for children of working mothers at day nurseries, and viewing the horrors and hazards of fire trap tenements. In the above photo Louis H. Fink, a member of the Municipal Housing Authority, is showing the girls condemned tenement at 116 E. 4th Street, vacated by order of the Tenement House Commission.
