1940 Press Photo New York Harold Wagner held for shooting of Milton Salit, NYC

Harold Wagner 15 a public School student is pictures in a police station where he is being held for questioning in the shooting of Milton Salt 35 year old Principal of Brooklyn Grade school. The Shooting was the culmination of series of difficulties in which the boy found himself according to police the Boy shot from a 22 caliber revolver. Salit was struck in the shoulder and was recovered to a hospital for examination of the wound.
