1946 Press Photo New York Suzy Zimmerman Arrived in US from Brmerhaven NYC

Among the displaced persons who arrived on the SS Marine Perch from Bremerhaven was Suzy Zimmerman, 17, who will join her uncle Alexander Ilkovics, in San Ysidro, Calif. The youthful concentration camp victim had been working with UNRRA headquarters in Germany. Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches. Photo is dated 7-27-1946.
