Pioneer Aviator Assen Jordanoff Aviation Demonstrates the Pneumatic Safety Cushion which he designed to reduce injuries in surviving airplane crashes and forced landings. The french poodle shows how a child on a parent's lap would be protected from the impact of a crash or ditching at sea.The device will be put into production by the Micro-Moisture controls, Inc., of Mineola, Long Island, NY. Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches. Photo is dated 01-05-1957.
