FORMER AMERICAN TABLE TENNIS CHAMPION PEGGY MCLEAN FOLKE IS CURRENTLY COACHING HER FAVORITE PUPIL IN THE ART OF BATTING THE LITTLE WHITE BALL. HE IS HER 2 1/2 YEAR OLD SON TED WHO NOT ONLY HAD EXCELLENT INSTRUCTION BUT A PADDLE THAT SHOULD MAKE HIM WORLD CHAMP BY THE TIME HE'S FIVE. THE BIG PADDLE IS USED TO KEEP THE YOUNGSTER FROM MISSING THE BALL WHILE HE LEARNS THE RUDIMENTS OF THE GAME. THE TABLE TENNIS FAD IS BACK IN NEW YORK WITH THE START OF THE MATCHES IN THE SWEDISH INTERNATIONAL TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE CURRENTLY BEING HELD AT THE SWEDISH SEAMEN CENTER IN BROOKLYN, NY
