In an effort to prevent the threatened bus strike set for 4 AM on Friday Sept 12 Mayor ODwyer of New York today 9/11 invited officials of both the Transport Workers Union CIO and the New York Omnibus Corp to meet with him at City Hall. Strike action was postponed pending outcome of a legal appeal by the bus company.
