A trio of young ladies photographed in the costumes they will wear to the Art Students League Scholarship Ball at the Hotel Roosevelt here on Feb 23rd. Left to right, Mrs Oliver La Farge; Miss Sylvia Kissel, chairman of the debutante committee; and Miss Karen Van Run. All are wearing costumes that were in vogue during the days of the Gold Rush in '49. Photo measures 7 x 9 inches. Photo is dated 2-21-1940.
