Description

The body of Frances Marks, 23 year old secretary (above) was found by WPA workers in a sewer excavation in New York City on Feb 22nd. Marks on the girls throat led to the belief that she had been strangled. No motive has been discovered for the death. Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 2-22-1940.
