1941 Press Photo New York "Blanks" Turn Out to be Real, Husband Dies NYC

Andrew and Blanch Tannabiello before tragedy broke up the Bronx home of the couple and their 3 children. Mrs Tannabiello found a pistol on their roof. When her husband told her the gun was loaded only with blanks, she laughingly shot at him. He fell dead. Magistrate Ford held her without bail pending action by the Grand Jury on a charge of homicide. Photo measures 8 x 6.25 inches. Photo is dated --1941.
