Capt Thomas C Kinkaid (right) Naval attache at the US Embassy in Rome for the past two and a half years, is greeted by Lr Wilson Starbuck USN, on arrival here with Mrs Kinkaid (shown center) one of 25 passengers on Pan American's Dixie Clipper, Capt Kincaid said that Italy was having trouble acquiring food and ammunition and that in his opinion the situation was growing more serious.
