Klemmer awaits the arrival of his British wife, Hazel Caroline Klemmer, & 8-month-old daughter, Shirley Ann Klemmer who docked aboard the U.S.S. Argentina. He was "stood up" by his wife at the club, which was the meeting place for the families.
