Lady luck smiled upon this Brooklyn, N.Y., household. It consists of Mrs. Anna Hyman, who held a $148,000 winning ticket in the Irish Sweepstakes, and her family. Mrs. Hyman, a grandmother at the age of 42, is seated next to the radio. Seated with her is her daughter, Mrs. Bobbie Paul. Standing are four of Mrs. Hyman's six children, Dorothy, Anne, Muriel, and Sidney, and on top of the radio her grandson, Allan Paul. One hour before the race, Mrs. Hyman sold a half interest in her ticket for $40,0000.
