M Dick Kahlow and his bride are on their honeymoon at the hotel NY and it's all because of a story she wrote for the Purple Parrot, Northwestern University student magazine. Rudolph the Red was the name of the story, and Kahlow former Marquette football player read it in a friend's apartment The girl who wrote that's got a sense of humor he told his friend. He ended up writing to the girl Frances Marie Laughed. She invited him to a Northwestern dance and anyone who's ever read a short story knows what happened from there on. Kahlow who hails from Mayville Wis is now completing a course as commercial flying instructor in Staten Island Photo measures 6 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 08-06-1941.
