Helen McCarthy Seven Year Old daughter of Mr & Mrs Harold J MCCarthy 334 East 26th Street New York City who has been missing since she left for school a few blocks from her home on March 29th. Police fearing she might have been the victim of a degenerate were searching a movie theater near her home early March 30th for traces of her. The child has been known to frequent the theater after school. Her father a WPA Foreman notified police after she had failed to return late in the evening. Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 03-30-1939.
