1942 Press Photo New York South American Aviation Students in New York NYC

Aviation students from six South American countries who arrived today January 13th for the letters US as a token of greeting to this country. Twelve are fron Chile Ten from Ecuador six from Colombia ten from Peru six from Bolivia and six from Panama. They will receive training in American air fields as part of a program sponsored by the Civil Aeronautics Administration and their training will be financed by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation.
