Description


Franklin Hugh Ellis of Brooklyn designed and erected the V sign of paper. It hangs in the west end of the Terrace Room and during the Presidents Ball the diamond bears his portrait and at 10 PM when the band plays Pearl Harbor the diamond swings and a picture of Gen Douglas MacArthur shows ans a midnight a picture of Churchill shows with the playing of God Save The King. Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches. Photo is dated 01-30-1942.
