At Bellvue Hospital in New York there is an annual affair that proves the courage of American youth and his ability to overcome handicaps no matter how great. Today a group of crippled children were graduated. Not to be denied an education some were given home stufy courses. Regular diplomas and certificates were given out to the worthy youngsters. Dr. S. Cutolo, Assistant Medical Superintendent at the hospital, addresses the graduates during ceremonies. Photo measures 9 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 06-29-1944.
