Adolph Flashner, owner of the "King of the Sea," an East Side New York seafood restaurant, looks sorrowfully at a safe that contained $10,000 of the eating-house's funds until a holdup today by a masked bandit. The thief locked two women clerks in a closet with the office manager while he looted the safe. Photo measures 6 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 07-29-1946.
