When American Forces entered Rome, Italy, they were greeted by an unseen enemy. One long fascist sniper opened fire on the soldiers from the window of an apartment house, but he was quickly nabbed by the Yanks. Here, onlookers gather in front of the building a few minutes after the man was captured by American Troops.
