1953 Press Photo New version of the CM 170 R fighter built by the Fouga Company

The new version of the jet fighter CM 170 R is the latest model to come from the designers of France. It is propelled by a special jet engine and has a pressurized cockpit for high altitude flying. The jet carries a full flight installation, complete with machine guns, bombs, rockets and two extra wing tip fuel tanks for long distance missions. The ship was built by the Fouga Company.
