1951 Press Photo Torpedoes and rockets seen under wing of an Army Skyraiders

Korea: U.S. Navy Skyraiders,like one above, blasted holes in the Hwachon Reservoir flood gates with aerial torpedoes 5/1 in a spectacular attempt to stem Red drive on Seoul. In first us of aerial torpedoes since WW II, Skyraiders from a carrier destroyed one gate, tore a huge gap in another. In this photo, one of two torpedoes and many rockets can be seen underwing.
