1953 Press Photo Alvie Donahoo crippled by polio hike with Explorer Post 95

Crippled by polio since he was three months old Alvie Donahoo attends a weekend bivouac at Fort Hood Texas. This is something for Alvie who hikes right along with Explorer Post 95 when the field from their home in Hamilton Texas. Overcoming the crippling effects, Alvie has earned enough merit badges to become a top ranking scout.
