1951 Press Photo General Omar Bradley testifies before House Committee hearing

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Omar N. Bradley is shown as he testified before the House Armed Services Committee today at a resumption of its hearing on the draft universal Military training Legislation. Bradley declared that approximately 250,000 American Troops are now fighting in Korea. He gave no figures on the number of other U.N. Forces in Korea but solemnly warned the committee that possibly ten or twenty years of unsettled international conditions may be expected.
