1942 Press Photo Paul Gravel of Valley Forge Military School receives commission

Cadet Major Paul Gravel, top cadet at Valley Forge Military Academy, Wayn, Pa., finds reason to smile at the comparison between the grandeur of his cadet uniform and the simplicity of his new garb that of Second Lieutenant in the US Army. Lieutenant Gravel, whose home is in Woonsocket R.I., was one of thirty three cadets at the Academy who received Army commissions.
