1941 Press Photo The French 75 used during the West Big Army Maneuvers

One of the most famed of field pieces, the French 75 is shown here in a new role during the West Big Army Maneuvers. It is now used as an anti tank gun firing from a horizontal position at a comparatively short range. The gun is deadly at these short ranges and will stop almost any tank.
