1944 Press Photo Optical Service Club of Chicago at Service Men and Women Center

The Optical Service Club of Chicago sends 28 members over to the center on Saturdays and Sundays to straighten bows, tighten lenses and to make other repairs, they do not, however fit or prescribe glasses. Above Stanley Jaroch Jr., optician, takes care of Cpl. Robert Hoyt, Army, Lilliwaup, Washington; S/Sgt. Martin Duggan, Marine, St. Louis, Mo. and M.C. Meers, F2/C, navy, Rineyville, Ky.
