Helping his fellow compositors in London's first stay in strike the British version of the American sit down Douglas Kitchener takes tea and provisions into the Hammersmith Printing Works of Samuel Temple & Co. Limited, where the stay in strike went into effect as a result of the dismissal of three men who recently became members of the London Society of Compositors. All members of the Society in the plant struck in sympathy and sat down to remain there until the men are reinstated.
