Pictured above is H.M.S. Enterprise on which Emperor Haile Selassi of Ethiopia and his family sailed from Dijibouti for Haifa, en route to refuge in Jerusalem. Italian resentment soared because Britain has granted asylum to the Negus and provided him with a warship.
