Description
Second Minesweeper within the month was launched by the American Car and Foundry Plant. The vessel was built for the British Govt and was sponsored by Mrs Ralph T Hanson. During the ceremony, the plant was presented with a Navy "E" pennant for excellence in production. At the ceremony, LTR, are: Gerald Boatfield; Mrs Ralph T Hanson, and William C. Watts.
