1943 Press Photo School Principal Paul Wamsley Presented Rosenstiel Award

Hailed as the "Ideal American," Paul Walmsley (R), school principal, is presented with the $1,000 Rosenstiel Award, given annually to the outstanding Legionnaire for unceasing efforts in advancing the principles of Americanism. Wamsley, who has 2 sons in service, has led many patriotic drives, and also has been commended by J. Edgar Hoover for his aid to the FBI, which resulted in threats upon his life. Homer Chaillaux, Legion Americanism Chairman, is presenting the award at the national convention in Omaha.
