1952 Press Photo Wilton Bowman Shows Richard Applegate The Hook on Helicopter

Wilton Bowman of Kenmore, NY shows United Press Correspondent Richard Applegate the hook on his rescue helicopter. Bowman participated in a choppy seas rescue of a downed Marine pilot in the Yellow Sea, in which the helicopter was set down in the ocean for a few moments.
