1937 Press Photo General Pershing Peaking at Aisne-Marnes Memorial France

General John J Pershing, during his speech at ceremonies dedicating the Aisne-Marne Memorial at Hill 204, Chateau Thierry, last of a series of monuments to American war dead, dedicated this year, in France. Several thousand Legionnaires who served under Pershing in the World War, were present at the ceremonies.
