Description
Chevalier A Prisoner Of Nazis? New York City -- Either Maurice Chevalier is a prisoner of the Nazis, of the Germans would like to have us believe he is. After receiving this form letter for a correct prisoner-of-war address signed by Capitaine Maurice Chevalier, the Borden's export department compared the signature with one definitely written by the French singer. Apparently they are the same. In the past, it has been rumored that Chevalier is a collaborationist. Borden's has received a stream of these letter from prisoners who have received the company's powdered milk through the Red Cross.

Photo is dated 1944.

Photo measures 9 x 7.5 inches.
