1944 Press Photo Passengers Injured in Hollywood-Los Angeles Bus crash

Hollywood, CA....Forty-five people were injured, some seriously, when a Hollywood-Los Angeles bus swerved to avoid hitting an auto and crashed into a lamp post and palm tree after hurtling the street curb. Shown here are LTR: Richard Lintz, Harold Bell, Mrs. Mary Bell and Mrs R.J. Jones after the accident. Mr. Bell, driving along the boulevard, stopped to inspect the wreckage and discovered Mrs. Bell, who had suffered cuts and bruises in the crash .
