1945 Press Photo Man Looks Over Wreckage Which Hurled Into Ocean in Malibu Beach

Malibu Beach, CA....Lying on the beach near here is the wreckage of the expensive coupe in which Katherine Alspach, former Mt. Pulaski, Illinois, WASP, and an unidentified man were killed when the car hurtled from the Roosevelt Highway into the ocean. Officers sought the body of Hayden Head, 30, also a former member of the WASP's who was believed to have been a passenger in the car.
