Cheyenne, Wyoming-James Merritt, 26 (left), arrested near Sheridan, Wyoming, posing as a cowboy, in custody of US Marshal Sanders as he passed through Cheyenne, Wyoming en route to Cincinnati, Ohio, to face trial under the Federal Lindbergh kidnaping law on charges of kidnaping Harley Spruance, wealthy Ohio farmer, whom he allegedly robbed and took forcibly in his car from Highland County Ohio, to a point near Indianapolis.
