1946 Press Photo Lieutenant Commander Charles J. Horrmann of Dayton Ohio

Lt. Commander Charles J. Horrman of Dayton, Ohio, was killed in a twin-engine Beechcraft airplane which crashed near here Tuesday (2/19). Horrmann, Chief Naval Pilot at Wright Field, was enroute from Columbus to Wright Field after taking Admiral F.W. Pennoyer, Jr., to the State Capital where Pennoyer presented a Congressional Medal of Honor to a war widow, Mrs. Tony Stein of Dayton.
