1937 Press Photo Detectives check smashed and bullet riddled car of auto thief

Detective Lieutenants Jack Stamler (left) and J.R. Stephens looking at the smashed and bullet riddled car which they chased through Hollywood Streets in pursuit of a suspected auto thief. They caught him, but he is in Hollywood receiving hospital with a bullet through his neck.
