1941 Press Photo Mother Surrenders Slayer Son To Police After Overhearing Talks

Mrs Mary Ziemba and son, Peter, after he had confessed taking part in a holdup during which watchman was killed. Mrs Ziemba reported overhearing a conversation between her son and a pal. She reported to police and said it was her duty "as a citizen" to turn Peter over to officials.
