1950 Press Photo Mrs. Karen Olsen Nelson jailed for the slaying of her husband

Mrs. Karen Olsen Nelson, 25, formerly of Utica, Michigan, reading mail in her cell in Havana, Cuba, prior to her release on $10.000 bail for the slaying of her husband. Although Coroner's jury listed the death of her husband, Alvar Nelson, as accidental, police held Mrs. Nelson and two others for the shooting.
