From over a hundred students who graduated from high schools between the ages of 13 and 14; officials of Northwestern University, Evanston Illinois, picked seven; five boys and two girls, as truly precocious; and admitted them to the university; where they will still be closely watched and given special attention. President Walter Dill Scott, Left, is shown welcoming six of the prodigies to the school; Left to Right; Jane Alice Hall, 15, Clovis New Mexico; Mary Margaret Moore; 14, Danville, Illinois, George Edward Alcott; 15, Weiner Arkansas; James Allan Norton; 15, Flint, Michigan; William Duncan Stehc; 15, New York City. At the right is Harold Finley, 16; of Ohio, who entered Northwestern 3 years ago. Two of the boys had not yet arrived when this picture was made.
