Mrs. Caroline Walker, of Washington D.C, widow of the late General Walton Harris Walker who commanded 20th Corps under General Eisenhower's command in the European theater of operations during World War II, accepts on behalf of the Gold Star Camp for children a portrait of the general at a White House Ceremony on June 25, 1953.
