Joseph James Ryan, Grandson of the noted Thomas Fortune Ryan, New York Financier of a past decade, returned from a pleasure trip to Manchukuo and Apan on the N.Y.K. Liner Tatsuta Maru. Ryan, shown above is a student at Princeton University. He made the trip with James Sands, University of Pennsylvania student.
