1956 Press Photo Six Generations Celebrate Great Bend's Citizen 100th Birthday

Mrs. Margaret Webster, of Great Bend, Kansas, who recently marked her 100th birthday, holds her great, great, great Grandson, sixteen-month-old Danny Alexander. Five generations of offspring gathered to help the Grand Old Lady celebrate the reaching of the Century-Mark. Standing behind Mrs. Webster are (Left to Right): Mrs. Billie Alexander, 19, Little Danny's mother of Pueblo, Colorado; Her mother, Mrs. Gertrude Nimz, 40, also of Pueblo; Mrs. Nimz's mother, Mrs. Ethel Smith, 60, of Arnold, Kansas, and Mrs. Smith's mother, Mrs. Martha Jacka, 80, of Utica, Kansas, daughter of Mrs. Webster. Mrs. Webster is Great Bend's oldest citizen.
