It has been many years since Former Federal Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis, high commissioner of baseball, appeared in court as an attorney, but when Miss Julia Luciett, Telephone Operator at the Chicago Hotel where Judge Landis Resides, was accused by a department store of buying clothing for two adopted children and charging the purchase to someone else, Judge Landis went into the police court trial as her attorney
