1952 Press Photo Louis Paul Jr Locks Himself in Wood Icebox in Memphis Tennessee

Louis Paul, Jr., 5, and his mother have ample reason for the hug and kiss. Louis locked himself and his pet cat in an old wood icebox. Mrs. Paul, attracted by the faint mews of the cat, found them huddled inside. She saved the unconscious child's life by giving him artificial respiration.
